Space Explorers

Dates: October 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24

For the first time in the Inconvenient Films program, a fulldome film will be screened at the Science Island Planetarium. Space Explorers – captures the lives of eight astronauts aboard the International Space Station, forming the largest documentary project ever filmed in space.

In collaboration with NASA, 360° cameras created specifically for this project were sent to the space station, allowing the crew to film their daily lives in orbit—capturing the joys, the wonder, and the challenges. These mission moments not only reveal how one of humanity’s greatest technological achievements is maintained and advanced but also inspire us to look at the ever-expanding boundaries of human potential and space exploration.

Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to catch a screening at the Science Island Planetarium on a rainy October evening.
