Signal Inventions
Physics-Engineering Laboratory
Here, science becomes a game, and your body becomes a real detective tool. In the workshop, visitors are invited to try out how the body energy transmits a signal, and touches emit sounds. They travel not only through the air, but also through all materials and living organisms.
In the class, inventions are created whose operation depends on different human sences: hearing, touch, and the researcher’s reaction. Sound will become an assistant, or even a secret hint, when creating your control system.
Alexander Graham Bell, the telephone inventor, sought to help people hear others speaking from great distances. His research into sound, human nerves, and movement provides insight into how the body controls even the most complex technologies.
Age of visitors: the program is suitable for children from 6 years old and families
Duration of group sessions: 60 minutes
