Saturday experiments

Free activity

On Saturdays, the STEAM laboratory team invites families and all curious people to logic and creative experiments.

Can a robot move like a living organism? And how does it make decisions and react to the environment? Come and find out!

The Science Island STEAM Kaunas team invites you to a new Saturday experiment program, where we will discover how computational thinking and the latest technologies are changing the world.

Creative workshops and interactive experiments will open up new experiences – logical sequences will become living algorithms, and challenges will be accepted not only by Science Island visitors, but also by robots:

  • you will test your strength in computational thinking tournaments, learn to create strategies and algorithms in the real world – from everyday tasks to the principles of creating a smart city;
  • you will meet Newton, the pet of Science Island, and learn how the synergy of biomechanics and artificial intelligence works, observing a four-legged robot that recognizes people, bypasses obstacles and demonstrates impressive tricks;
  • you will participate in creative tasks that develop logical thinking and creativity at the same time. Have you ever tried programming using puzzle pieces?

The classes are free for all Science Island visitors!

The activities may be filmed and photographed.
