Smart Ethnographic City
Smart City Laboratory
Immerse yourself in a true creative challenge – giving individuality to mass-produced homes by incorporating architectural features and symbols from Lithuania’s ethnographic regions. After all, even a simple building can become unique if it tells a story about a place, its people, or traditions.
During the session, you will step into the roles of an architect, structural engineer, urban planner, and designer. You will explore the architectural characteristics and history of four ethnographic regions of the country, and use building modules to construct your own house, creating a unique design with 3D pens.
The activity encourages creativity and spatial thinking while allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of architecture, design, culture, and smart city ideas. You will see the city as a place where traditions coexist with modern technologies.
You will be able to try this activity from April 18.
Age of visitors: the program is suitable for children from 6 years old and families
